Tiemen Reitsma always aspired to an international career. He studied business management in the Netherlands before moving abroad to gain international experience, living and working for four years in European countries.

His first international job in the equipment industry was for American company Sandhills Global, connecting buyers and sellers of construction equipment. After Sandhills he moved back to the Netherlands in 2017 for a job at Ritchie Bros Auctioneers as territory manager for the Benelux.

In 2019 he started as international sales manager at bare rental crane specialist Hovago Cranes. He took over the commercial responsibilities of previous general manager Marcel Riemslag in 2021.

Hovago Cranes manages a fleet of hundreds of mobile cranes spread across five continents.
